Welcome to KA  Textbook Project

Here you can find the information and guidelines you need to build textbooks inspired by Khan Academy*.

There are millions of students around the world who do not have direct access to internet or even computers. Thus, it is extremely difficult for them to get access to excellent educational contents like Khan Academy videos. KA Textbook is an open source project which aims in spreading world class educational contents to students, irrespective of their place of living and monetary status. And the only practical way to do so is to deliver these videos through standard textbooks based on the style and vigor of Khan Academy. We believe that this could be achieved through active collaboration between people from various backgrounds.

How can you contribute for this cause?

If you are a teacher, an academician or an inquisitive human being, you can help us through participating in our compilation program. All you have to do is to follow our guidelines.

If you are yearning for the well being of the under privileged, believe in the right for education for every living soul irrespective of their monetary wealth, you shall advertise about this project to your elite friends. Also please check the Announcements page where we frequently seek help from volunteers.
